Most factions can settle anywhere, but may take penalties in bad climates. Unlike The Old World campaign, there is no regional occupation to limit colonization. The campaign features over 120 factions spread across more than 300 settlements, over 100 spells and over 350 unit types, making it the single largest campaign map ever created by Creative Assembly, prior to TWW3.Ī huge number of settlements in Mortal Empires have unique landmark buildings. Mortal Empires combines the Old World with the New World landmasses seen in the Eye of the Vortex campaign. There are over 60 playable legendary lords, most of which have their own unique start location and faction.

Use Eagle bolt thrower to shift enemy into offensive position. This army should be able to handle throughout early game. You should have 8 archers, 7 spearmen, 1 swordmaster, 1 great eagle, 1 life mage, 1 eagle claw bolt thrower, and Teclis. They only have two settlements to start with and they can be easily eliminated after rebellions and Vampire Coast Mutineers taken care of.Ĥ. Clan Eshin - Since the first settlement we must conquer is owned by this faction, we'll start the campaign fighting them.
